Anna (Kozak) Grimard
Vice President

I began my career at Fletcher Allen Healthcare (now University of Vermont Medical Center) in Burlington, VT back in 2006 as a Laboratory Assistant. After falling in love with the profession and art of histology, I moved back to MA where I was born and raised to take my first histotech position at Beverly Hospital in 2010. Over the past 18 years, I have held various positions which include histotech, mohs tech, histology supervisor and lab manager. In my current role at Biogen in Cambridge, MA I am a Principal Associate Scientist where I help oversee the Research Histology Core Laboratory. After being in the field for 18 years I am truly lucky because I love the work I do, have a passion for the profession and care greatly for the patients I have helped over the past almost 20 years. I currently hold my A.A degree from North Shore Community College, B.S in Healthcare Management and Administration from Granite State College and will graduate in May 2024 with my M.S in Project Management with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of New Hampshire. I cannot put enough emphasis and thanks on the importance of my mentors over the past 18 years for believing in me and recognizing the fire that I had within. I am the histology professional I am today because of those people, and I am forever grateful. It truly takes a village.
